Installation Instructions for Ford BCM Cloning
THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE STARTING VEHICLE.
Important Note: Perform BCM Self-Test Using Scan Tool***
Tools and Equipment Needed:

Replacement (Cloned) BCM

OBD-II Scan Tool (such as Forscan or Ford IDS)

Basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.)

Vehicle's OBD-II adapter
Installation Steps:
Step 1: Safety First

Disconnect the vehicle’s battery:

Start by turning off the vehicle and disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery to prevent any electrical shocks or shorts during installation.

Step 2: Remove the Old BCM

Locate the BCM:
-
The location of the BCM varies by model, but typically it is located under the dashboard, in the driver’s footwell area, or near the fuse box. Check your vehicle’s manual for exact location.

Remove any panels or covers:

Using basic hand tools, carefully remove any dashboard panels or covers that may block access to the BCM.

Disconnect the wiring:

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the BCM. This typically involves releasing clips or screws that hold the connectors in place. Be cautious to avoid damaging the connectors or wiring.

Remove the BCM:

Step 3: Install the New (Cloned) BCM

Step 4: Reconnect the Battery
